- Don't let the low price fool you! This machine is great!!
One night just for fun I worked through the entire instruction book. It is without a doubt the best and most complete manual I have ever gotten with a brother sewing machine. I was able to master every stitch function and attachment in one very pleasant evening. You really don't need another machine. The feet are plastic, which is GREAT--you can see through them. There is nothing cheesy about the parts--they all work exactly as they should. I am crazy about my machine, and its support materials. So crazy, in fact, that I recently bought the Brother serger here on Amazon, and it is just as good. GREAT machines. Why spend more? Buy this inexpensive machine and you'll have lots more money to spend on FABRIC!!

- Great Machine! Even for beginners!
I bought this machine so I could make Christmas Presents this year and it has been great. The only thing i would reccomend is if you are new to sewing to try and have someone who isnt new around, the directions can be somewhat confusing in their wording, especially if you have never even looked twice at a machine before. And it took me forever and a year to figure out how to thread the bobbin, and the machine since I didnt know how. But once i got it, i figured out that it has lots of different stitch settings, which I am still trying out and will probably never use all of them. It can sew buttons as well. And it comes with lots of feet for the machine as well as bobbins (it has to have a special kind) and a little kit of tools as well. Overall this is a great buy! I may end up purchasing "Sewing for Dummies" to go along with it, so I can learn to sew more then a pillow.

I just purchased this Brother Es2000 Computerized Sewing Machine for the little girl I teach sewing to and am jealous of how many features it offers and how nice it sews. I've recommended it to 7 of my friends and family and all love how well it handles thin and thick fabrics alike. This is really a great machine.
