The Brother Ls 2020 Sewing Machine arrived in good condition. It's lightweight, so easy to carry as a senior citizen. I've made curtains and throw pillows and it fits my needs. But it has a carrying handle. I think it's a good value for the price. I like my Brother Ls 2020 Sewing Machine, but it did not arrive ready to use. When I began to sew it started rough and not smooth at all. I had to get the machine oiled prior to doing any project. I like the Brother Ls 2020 Sewing Machine and hopefully will enjoy doing many more projects. Though it's refurbished, it looks like new. It doesn't work well with materials thicker than doubled jeans, but enough for everyday use. And it's easy to start with! Very clear instruction.

I Bought this as my first sewing machine, it works great, came in a few days, the instructions were super helpful and I learned how to use all the features very quickly, fun and easy to use, it's my first sewing machine and I've already made a bunch of stuff with all different fabrics, no problems at all. solid, quality, I'd definitely recommend this sewing machine!

The Brother Ls 2020 Sewing Machine was difficult to assemble all the little parts and one even cracked due to the flimsy plastic. I purchased this sewing machine as a gift for my granddaughter to learn to sew. She gave up after the first day; brought it back to me and when I tried to work with it, I sent it straight to the trash dump. I have been an accomplished seamstress for over fifty years and used many, many different sewing machines but this one was worse than the toy machine I had as a child. The bobbin tension never stayed in the proper setting and the thread was constantly knotting and/or breaking.
